One of our goal is to promote structural biology and towards this we are proposing to host scientists from University and Institutes, who would like obtain structures but lack the infrastructure or expertise at their host institute. The proposed project can either be of basic biological interest and or applicatory nature. The call for projects will be made every 6 months and 3-4 projects will be selected after peer review. These projects will be jointly funded by the Bangalore Life Science Cluster and ThermoFisher Scientific. The successful application will benefit from the use of infrastructure and consumables that are available in the campus. The accommodation for the personnel will be covered but not the salary.
